Wayfinding

Wayfinding is a dynamic map designed to aid users in navigating through a building by plotting a route from their position to their desired destination.

With Wayfinding, the airport can create an unlimited number of multi-level maps specifically designed for passengers, staff, maintenance, or any other group. Wayfinding can integrate features such as showing devices’ statuses, generating user reports, and showing in-depth amenity information.

Passengers

Wayfinding helps passengers maneuver through the airport by showing the distance and time it will take to travel to their gate, through security, or to a restaurant. Accessibility mode can help passengers with mobility difficulties plot alternative routes through the airport.

Restaurants

Wayfinding maps can show the hours of operation and descriptions of stores and restaurants within the airport, giving the passengers an easy way to decide where to spend their free time.

Integrations

Wayfinding integrates seamlessly with any website or mobile application, allowing passengers and staff to have easy access to the functional map whenever and wherever they need. Self-service kiosks can be placed at key locations for anyone to use.

Staff

A more detailed map can be developed for staff, including parts of the building that are only accessible to specific personnel. A staff map can show if a device is online or offline, where a device is located, the availability of meeting rooms, and more.

Wayfinding is an optimal solution for providing a means of traversing through the airport without staff intervention, lessening passenger confusion as they make their way to their destination.
